A few months later and a bit of eBay madness and the first bus PDZ 6276 arrived.

I have always been interested in Trains Planes and Automobiles, but to find room to keep a train!
  Whilst it is a nice hobby to preserve a vehicle, apart from the occasional run out to a rally it seems a shame to see the bus parked in a field. And as everyone knows one is not enough.

After some searching around on the net, I came into contact with Tom Druitt who was busy forming The Big Lemon CIC. Some months later the 42 and 42X Toms first route is up and running and our buses are now hard at work.

Not wishing to get into any arguments and debates, the facts speak for themselves, we cannot cope with the forever increasing traffic problems of our towns and cities. The costs of running a car in these areas with all the different taxes and expected road pricing tariffs is set to rocket. A reliable and affordable public transport system is needed, and we believe the bus has its role to play.

We know that our current fleet is not the most modern, but on a budget and lots of hard work. Tom has turned his vision into reality. Its a start, no hand outs or subsidised routes, and a project that we at Blu Works are proud to promote and support.
